Arundel Castle 10k - Free DownloadGallery now ready

At this years Arundel 10k James Baker (Chichester) ripped the course to shreds this year in perfect conditions for a new course record 32:30 - some 2:30 ahead of next place...

Emily Alden of Midhurst Milers was 2 minutes ahead of the rest to be the first lady home!

Yes, you read that headline right - Those super chaps at the 1st Arundel (Earl of Arundel's own) Scout Group http://www.arundelscouts.org.uk/10k/ very kindly included your race photos in the entry fee.

What does this mean ? - well if you ran in the race - you can find your pictures via this link:
http://gallery.sussexsportphotography.com/a.tlx?k=4hfzeoe

...and download any of the ones you like for free and then post them on the web, email, keep them for posterity and proof that you were are runner once and you did strut your stuff very well indeed.
Then go to the Runners world site and tell them how fab it all was http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/events/ratingsall.asp?sp=&v=2&ugn=604&en=50390

If you didn't run the race - go to the race results here: http://www.ukresults.net/2009/aruncastle.html
and then see if any of your friends were running in it. Then using their race number go to the gallery and have a good look at them in action, download your favourites and email them back to your friends/post them on your running club website (as you know they won't!) and generally enjoy the memories of the day !

Tuff Fitty Tri club lived up to their name up the first climb...

Worthing Harriers turned out in force...

Every now and again, this job throws a curve ball. We all have to carry full public liability insurance just in case something happens - but you can never really ever bargain on someone running off the path to jump over you... I mean, if we were in the road then fair game, but off the path...

As an ex-hurdler I can only say how close this was and how much I hope this chap also carries his own public liability insurance - just in case for next time you understand !

Well done to James on the new Course record and Mel for yet another fantastically well run event (and for keeping the rain off).
