Arundel Tri, Outrageous Half Tri and Shiplake Tri all now live

A tri-triathlon weekend over the bank holiday Sunday - the weather held off for all three of the races we had the privilege of covering, and the Swim, Bike, Runs all happened smoothly.
Unusually all of the races were in open water pools and a lake - so there are plenty of swim pictures to get a look at too.

Just click on the Event name links to go to the individual race galleries below:

30/05/2010 REP Arundel Triathlon 2010 5092 files

Just enter the race number into the search box (top right) to find your race pictures (if you get a bit stuck - have a read the instructions on the gallery page)

With so much coverage just bear in mind that CD's of all your images are probably the best value for money option - and we do server downloads if you want them faster and you can't wait for the post...

The Tri Grand Prix saw over 55 Pro-triathletes mixing it with about 50 amateurs over a Half ironman distance race at Leybourne lakes - so there was a lot of very tight racing and fantastic performances (see below). Next stop for the series is Catlunia, Spain.

Raw Energy Pursuits put on their fantastic Arundel Triathlon at the lido there, with a great turnout of 285 starters across their standard and sprint distance triathlons - with Mark Tickner showing how it's done in the standard tri in a time of 1h:47m. If you're game, their next big event is the Worthing Tri - with a dip in the sea for good measure.

Meanwhile F3Events kicked off their Shiplake College triathlon base with a sprint and a try-a-try. As a first time test for the course which goes near Henley it's looking good for their repeat visit later on September the 5th.

Here are some selected shots from just two of the races from the weekend - and yes - that's a time of 3hr:38min for a Half Ironman distance triathlon that you can see behind this chap...Fraser Cartmel, which is why he won £8000... (he allegedly clocked over 55mph on the bike course - but not going uphill)

and in the meantime - if you're looking for London based triathlon to enter on June 27th - have a look over at the Dartford Bridge Triathlon here

As promised I will be putting more race and event finding links and services on the end of these blogs in the coming weeks. If you have a service that you think I should be listing - just get in touch and let me know.

Laters Anthony

p.s. I might try to do a blog for the Tri-Grand Prix event on it's own - as you don't often get 55 pro triathletes to take photos of...
