REP Adur Swim and Arundel 10k 2017 - Gallery now live

The atmosphere at Arundel Castle
What a Bank Holiday weekend and what great weather! We were shooting on Saturday at the REP Adur 5km Fin Swim and Sunday we were at the Arundel 10k. At both events, thanks to the organisers we were able to provide the participants with free photos.

The swimmers enjoyed another well organised race by Mick and team at Raw Energy Pursuits and the addition of the tide flowing with the swimmers made for some excellent swim times along the River Adur. Check out the gallery here -

The Arundel 10k features a route that takes the runners around and through parts of Arundel Castle and offers spectacular views. The race is organised by the Arundel Scouts and is part of the Arundel Festival which includes Medieval re-enactment within the Castle grounds, Dragon Boat Racing and Super Car Dream rides. Well worth a visit in 2018! You can see the gallery here -

Brutal Pyestock 2017 - Gallery now live

Our favourite part of the Brutal Pyestock route
As the future of digital photography, virtual reality and augmented reality continues to improve at a dramatic speed, I hope one day to be able to capture the full atmosphere at events allowing the viewers to "experience" our work and perhaps even "smell" our imagery...

This weekend the team we out photographing the Brutal Pyestock event near Fleet in Hampshire. Runners had the choice of running 5km, 10km or 20km meaning they had to run through the above "puddle" once, twice or four times.

As you can imagine, 400 people running through the puddle some 700ish times created opportunites for some fantastic photography but also created the most amazing smell! It's locations like this that make Brutal events quite so good! I hope you enjoy the photographs below.

Next up for us are two free download events next weekend, The River Adur 5km Swim with Raw Energy Pursuits (I'm so impressed with those that can swim 5km - a Sprint Tri 400m distance in a pool is enough for me...) and the Arundel 10k (which I always enjoy as Arundel Castle makes for a fantastic background).

Until next time, keep training,

The Pride 10K 2017 - Gallery now live

Start of this years 10k run

We've been enjoying a quiet August so far allowing plenty of time to plan and prepare for our super busy Autumn season, but last Saturday we were out in action at the Pride 10k. There's always a fabulous atmosphere within Victoria Park during the race and due to the multi lap nature of the course friends and family have plenty of chances to cheer on the runners. The team at Front Runners put on a good race and after party!

SSP HQ was a hive of activity Saturday evening to make the gallery live on Sunday. You can see the images here -
