just use your race number in the search box to find your race pictures.

In honour of the new course record holder - I've put a small video together here:

If you're wondering, Edwin Kipyego took only 1:04:28 to finish the course - beating the long standing record from 1983 of Bob Treadwell  which was 1:04:49. The still respectable time of Neil Boniface in second place was almost 6 minutes later. To put it in context - at that speed - that's a whole mile and a bit behind...(1.2 miles actually). Although some might say only 92% on the age grading. Still good in very testing dark conditions.

For those of you of a photographic bent - average settings for the day was ISO1000, f3.2, 1/400th, or in english, about 6 times darker than normal...

This is Edwin at the 10k mark - "flying" up the hill
And here he is back at that same point, but running in the opposite direction after having done almost 13 miles - just how much energy does the man have ? he even had time for a smile..
The time on the race car showed it was going to be a close finish...

If a friend of yours strikes a pose, you have to put it in the blog. Charlie, you're a crazy guy. I was going to put the "Thriller" music on the video for you, but thought better of it..

Witches always discuss the length of their latest broom handle, *apparently*
If it doesn't hurt, you havent run hard enough - which would probably be better if in some witty latin saying. At least we know Jon gave it everything...and he has the proof.
Also, if your shoes fit, who knows how fast you could run if your left insole doesn't slip out in the last 6 miles, like Edwin's did....

And well done to everyone and the event organisers on raising big chunks of money for the nominated charity "Bliss" http://bliss.org.uk/

So go and check out your pictures and your friends photos on here:

well done to everyone involved in the testing conditions and until next time,
Anthony
