It was with a heavy sky that this months gathering took place at Dorney lake, but fortunately the rain had passed through earlier, and despite the hold-ups on the A4 out of london and the tube strike, most people managed to make it to the event.
This was the second running of the event this year, a basic sprint tri but with the open water swim and the safety of the private Dorney Lake Roads so no cars !
For Goodness Shakes were there too with their recovery drinks for after the race and plenty of them were downed. My thanks to Sean and Martyn from F3 events for the coffee and muffins that kept the two of us going through the evening taking photos.
