New Events, developments and updates

The Mid Sussex Tri
With a forecast for overcast but not quite rain down here in sussex for the weekend it looks like almost ideal conditions for the Mid-Sussex Tri Clubs Sprint Triathlon on Sunday.

Full event details can be found here: http://www.midsussextriclub.com/

The fast and popular race is now full, and for this year the MST Club have commissioned us to cover the race for them - which means that everyone will be able to download any photos from the event for free from the online gallery ! cool or what ?!?

We'll be taking photos in the pool, on the bike and at the run finish, so after that along with your race medals you can come over to the gallery and get your free photos... or of course you can get your friends photos and post them up on tri-talk for all to see...so don't forget to smile !

The race gallery will be here by Tuesday at the latest, fully indexed for your delight and download:

and don't worry - you will still be able to buy the usual highest resolution images and prints from us too if the free downloads arn't enough for you !

Saturdays Charity endurance effort:
If your sleep in on Saturday didn't work or you've already done the Hove Park ParkRun (http://www.parkrun.com/bhtt_home.aspx) and fancy some entertainment and something awesome to watch then get yourself over to Ditchling Beacon for 10am.

One of our friends who we see out and about at the triathlons who has finally, I mean already, at such a young age, qualified for the triathlon world champs in Hawaii.
Lizzie Brama is the person due some respect and on Saturday she is going to cycle up (and down) Ditchling beacon 10 times from 10am. (Ditchling Beacon is according to my OS map a 130m climb from top to bottom on the roads alone)

More information can be found here: http://www.justgiving.com/elisabethbrama
10 consecutive reps of the Beacon by car would be hard enough, but by bike ?!. We're confident it can be done as she completed the Austrian (not very flat) Ironman a few months ago.

And anyway, if you do go and give Lizzie some support, you can enjoy the view from the top too ! She doesn't know we've blogged this, so it should nicely overwhelm her to have some support.

Unfortunately we can't be there - we're working at our local school fete to raise funds for the PTA, but you probably can - so please go give her a shout of encouragement !

New Triathlon Races we're covering this year:

We are pleased to let you know that we're going to be the official photographers at three new events this year, and thought you might be interested as they are all top-notch for taking part in. We're very proud to have been invited to cover all these events and hope to be able to add some great memories to them for all the competitors.

In order of taking place (click on them for more details)

June 28th - The For Goodness Shakes Sprint Triathlons - Dorney lake

July 19th - The Autoglass
Bedford Classic Triathlon - Age Group World Chaps Qualifier

September 6th - The 21st Newbury Triathlon - almost full already

I think that just about covers it all, have a great weekend !

Anthony
