Cranleigh 10k gallery live

With a perfect temperature for running around the Surrey countryside the Cranleigh 10k took place on Sunday the 5th of July starting from the grounds of the cricket pavillion, just south of the bandrooms.

Taking the downs link it goes along quite a narrow path at the start, which was very very dark, so not many photos taken down that way - we did get some start videos and will upload them tomorrow when we get the chance onto youtube.

Anyway - just under 300 runners took part with a good turnout for the juniors race. The Rotary club organised by Brian Vine took control and it seems everyone made it back safely around the course.

All the photos can now be found here:

Next stop for us is the RPAC Summer 10k on Wednesday evening - more details here - entries are still ok on the night - and you'll be able to get free downloads of the photos (all included in you race entry) If you're a race organiser talk to me about coverage for your race too as the free downloads seem to be extremely popular with your competitors.

The race website is here: http://www.rpac.org.uk/index.php?p=summer10k
Many of you should be able to make it over to the A24 and up for this one - so we hope to see you there too !

A tidy if tight run down the south downs link route
Taking an early lead it was held to the end
Finishing across an nice official Brooks finishing line tape - now where's that sponsorship from Brooks gone Andy ?!

If your times are wrong - blame the chap in the background asking the timekeepers questions whilst they are still recording !
Brian organised the event as usual, as well as the hugely popular Cranleigh 15/20 as a run up to the April London Marathon season.
