F3 Events Rowers Revenge Triathlon now live

Photos from the F3 Events Rowers Revenge Triathlon are now live here: http://gallery.sussexsportphotography.com/a.tlx?k=3dozewc

This Sunday saw the 15th running of the Rowers Revenge Triathlon, this year organised by F3 Events in association with Marlow Rowing Club. The event format swaps swimming for a 4000m ergo based rowing before continuing with a 23.4km cycle and 7.15km run and the entry field reflected this with strong showings from both rowing and triathlon clubs.

30 ergos all lined up and ready for the start of the event at the riverside.

After the 4000m row it was a quick run to transition to head out on the bikes

There was a close battle for 2nd place between Marius Kwint and Christopher Heape with less than a minute separating them at the end of the event.

Joint ladies age group winner in full flow on the bike.

More close racing on the return leg of the bike course

Smiles at the finish after a tough workout

Enthusiastic support for the finishers over the last few metres

Some of the age group winners smiling for the camera at the end of the event.

Overall a fanstatic days racing on a glorious October Sunday morning. Congratulations to all who took part and those involved in the organisation. Stuart Steele and the team from Stuweb Race Timing provided the chip timing with on the day results, and the full results can be seen here: http://www.stuweb.co.uk/swp/default.asp?a=2&e=349
