(It's so good I'd give up my Brighton Marathon place to do it... well possibly)

Talking of Marathons. In other news - Abingdon Marathon on Sunday - good luck everyone going in for that one, the weather looks good, almost perfect, at the moment.

and totally off topic - here's something I thought of the other day - no politics here, just practical: http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/lowincome-solar/
please sign up and pass on, it's already in the top pages with ony a few names, lets see what we can all do together (only if you agree of course!).

Beachy Head Marathon is all ready to go in two weeks on Saturday the 24th - possibly the most picturesque off road marathon in the country ? - and if you're looking for a big race to watch there's the Great south run (10k) on the next day (25th) in Southsea, but 21,000 people doing 10k = just a long queue surely ? (if you do the maths, with less than two feet space each, you would be able to cover the length of the course if they stood in a long single line.. . hmmm.) Sooo glad we're not covering that one !

We will soon have the Raw Energy Pursuits dates confirmed for 2010 and as soon as we do, we'll pass them on - same goes for F3 events - they are due out soon - they already have two at Shiplake College booked in for May and September. Go have a look - a new venue as Dorney Lake starts to get the 2012 Seb Coe Treatment. Watching to see where Human Race choose to go...

Diary dates:
If you use google calendars to keep track of things - then you can add our confirmed diary of events - click here for the link and use it as a heads up, and if you're a sussex bod, then you should know by now the Sussex Race planner - http://sussexraces.tripod.com/sussexraceseventplanner.html (oh to have that as a google calendar - any volunteers to transcribe it?) Lots of 10ks, XC (cross country) , Half and Full marathons over the weeks ahead - so keep your self up to speed...no excuses not to be out there, it's not snowed yet.

One last thing - whatever you do - book out March the 28th 2010 now for a race - you can guarantee with easter where it is (April 2nd to 5th) there will be something going on for you on that day - there's already six very popular events on that day - so don't get caught out with other commitments !

Keep fit, and I hope that niggle goes away so we see you out soon...

Anthony
