A day of good racing, new experiences and family support last Sunday - which despite the very dark skies and a spot of rain didn't put a dampner on the day.
With the exclusive 75m long outdoor pool at the Northcroft Leisure centre - four lengths makes for a handy 300m swim which specatators can easily watch the race unfolding. The 22km bike course got a bit wet, and then a swift 5k along the canal to finish round the field at the sports centre.
Congratulations to Scott and the Team Kennet marshals, the Scouts, timekeepers and everyone else who made this a great race to take part in and a great atmosphere regardless of the weather.
