Great Baddow 10m and Fun Run now live

Over 18,000 images are now live and online for the Edmund Carr Great Baddow Fun Run and 10 mile road races. Three photographers covered the course on Sunday to provide extensive coverage of the races as they unfolded.

As usual the Rotary club of Chelmsford Mildmay organised an extremely well run and organised event. Profits from photo sales are being shared with the Rotary club and added to their fundraising total.

Race numbers are duplicated across the Fun Run and 10mile run, but we figured that you'd be able to identify who is who when you see pictures of yourself and a complete stranger.

In what can only be described as a Spingfield Striders day out, Paul Molyneux drove the Bus home in 53:42 (gun time) thats an Age Grading of 83.2%
Deborah Appleton came in as first lady in 26th place overall in 1:04:30 and an age grading of 78.3%

A growing and increasingly sensible race rule - especially for road races

Paul Molyneux hung about at the start

Cops and Robbers, still running after all these years

quick warm up lap of the park first

The kids at the start of the Fun Run went off at super high speed. Winner Nathan finished 2 miles in 10:50 which is very quick !

Running with a dog doesn't guarantee faster times

Deborah Appleton finished strong

Debbie Cattermole flew in 1:08:07

Morgan put everything into it
The weather seemed to hold out through the whole race, whilst strong wind stopped a few of the tents being put up before the race start but that seemed to be the judicious decision. It wasn't too hot, and the sun even crept in and out making for a great days racing and community day out.
