Call for entries - September 2012

September is one of our busiest months of the year - it's a rare five weekend month and 15 events listed (not counting the RAC Veteran Car Run Press Launch Day and PR) - and it is probably yours too - so make sure you're in the right place and have booked ahead so you're at the right race at the right time, just like what we have to be !

Next weekend:
Saturday 8th of Sept -
Sunday 9th of Sept -

Two weeks time:
Saturday 15th Sept -
Sunday 16th Sept -  Week 3 :
Sunday 23rd of Sept -

End of the Month:

Saturday 29th Sept -

Sunday 30th Sept -
Highlights from the Newbury Triathlon 2012

Top respect to the team in the office for turning this around so fast - 8man hours compressed into 2 on a sunday afternoon. Live and online before 7pm, that's a bit of a first for us for over 7,000 images.

Competitor No.1 is cheered on by No1 Daughter
Busy action in the 4x75m long lido pool
slight over-rotation?

Checking back over her shoulder
Aggressive attack down the first length
Formation riding in the rain
Not quite sure how he's steering ?
Double thumbs - probably wasn't raining at that particular point..
Lost his hat, or somthing similar ?
Point and wave and I will add you to the blog, in a nice way

What can I say, she was pleased to see me (I think?)

This chap was much more pleased to see me, great finish roar

If you want to hide your number, this is the way to do it...

Very well done to Graham and the team from Team Kennet on another smoothly organised event. Always good to have an outside swim  - which gives us the opportunity to get the photos - often it's too dark inside pools- so it's great to have the opportunity to get the swim actually swimming (not exiting a lake in a wetsuit), Bike and the Run. Shame about the rain - but it didn't seem to pose too much of a problem - so well done everyone on finishing and taking part !

Charity
Every now and again people use photos we've taken on their charity websites - which is excellent- and we try to share them with the wider audiences - Chris here (link below) says he's lost 5st in the process - and off to do the great North run - so very best of luck to him for that - some journey from down south.

Right, a week of admin, VAT returns, Paying photographers and staff and preparation for that mega month ahead. Oh and Back to School - good luck to all the parents out there !

Until next time
Anthony
