The Lewes Easter Fun Run and 10k Galleries are now live and online here:

A windy day at the track, as the cold weather remained stuck across the south east of England - the foliage on the trees and hedges is still to come out meaning that the white cliffs were readily visible to the east of the track and the route out on the course was less protected as in previous years.
At least it didn't snow like it has in previous years, although it was touch and go at a few moments. Well done to Martin and the team from Lewes AC in putting on another great family day, with some strong attendance in the 800m fun run, the 1m and 2m races as well as the WSFRL 10k race.

Other local news for Sussex:
I also promised to give a friends Sports Massage business a mention next time we covered a race in the right area - here's the low-down from Sue, who is a member of Phoenix AC:
Seahaven
Sports Massage Therapy- Sue Hudson LSSM (Dip)
Running
and other sports can take a heavy toll on your skeletal muscles and other
soft tissues. Sports Massage incorporates many techniques to remedy muscle pain
and tightness as well as rehabilitation techniques to get you back to full
fitness. At this time of year when half and full marathons abound it is even
more important to get regular treatment to prevent and relieve injury. As an
active UK athletics and British Triathlon Coach I can also advise on
training. Based near Seaford but also providing a mobile service to surrounding
areas of Brighton, Lewes, Eastbourne please contact me to discuss therapies.
Sue's full Contact Details are here: Seahavensportsmassage.co.uk
Give her a ring for chat if you have a niggle, or get tight after a race, or just need a professional opinion, or some ongoing general maintenance to keep yourself upwards and active !
p.s. see if you can spot me at work in my outside office in the
Daily Mail here and no, I have no idea who she is either.
Until next time,
Anthony
