The galleries for the Watford Half and Bookham 10k are now live and online !
Sunday was a perfect day for a bit of racing over your chosen terrain off road or on closed roads. A few light showers, but generally a good temperature for fast running. Although some races around the South did suffer a bit of gale force headwinds in the finishing kms, an excuse I've read touted on facebook by a few of the those who suffered from it, Ben. It's the same for everyone ;-)
If you did the Fred Hughes 10 and the Watford Half (and even the SEAA XC champs) - don't forget you can combine orders from multiple events into the same order basket, this can save on delivery costs or get you the multi-buy discounts (that are applied automatically).

You should also know that the Fleet Half on the 20th of March is now full, with no reserve list, so they are suggesting you have a look at the Run Richmond Half Marathon instead.
Events to Live Bookham 10k
A slightly smaller field than usual for what is a lovely bit of Cross Country-esque trail running, with a foot spa at the last moment. The heavy overnight rain before made sure it was fresh and sparkly ready to clean those muddy feet...

A great finish to a great race ! |
So, good luck with Valentines next weekend if you're not doing a pre-day Brutal run (why not ?) then there's always the Worthing Half Marathon on the day (new, shiny and never been done before - so you're going to get a course PB), or buy your other half a race entry - they will love you for it - honest. (Don't forget the SSP14 discount code for the Surrey Half Marathon either

Until Next time, safe running in the wind !
Anthony
