All of you. For even attempting one lap of that course, let alone two or even the Four laps on the Sunday. It's fair to say a lot of people attempting the Saturday course just were not prepared for the cold water with only 70 people on the day completing two laps. Sunday was a different story as the majority had a good idea of what they were going to face - the amount of Neoprene on show was testament to this.

Direct gallery links for you - please follow the instructions on the event page if you are having difficulty searching for your photos:

Connor Hancock at work
The overall winner on the Sunday - covering 4 laps (7km each) in just over 4hrs - #263 Connor Hancock and just so you get an idea of how good he was - he was over one hour ahead of the second place competitor to finish 4 laps...
Wayne checking the course on Saturday
Very well done to the organisers and the team of volunteers and medical staff that make big (and dangerous) events like this possible - Wayne and his team did a great job.

Here's a few more shots from the weekend for you to enjoy -

Finally, one of the participants at the National Cross Country championships last weekend shared her blog with us - it's rather good and you might enjoy reading it here: https://runbetterwildbare.wordpress.com/2016/03/09/the-2016-english-national-cross-country-championships-donnington-park-leicestershire/

The weather forecast is looking perfect by the way - so enjoy it !

Until next time
Anthony
