The start - up the hill from the grandstand, It's Epsom. |
The Tadworth 10 Gallery is now live and online - we managed a nice quick turnaround from the race after getting in and re discovering our fingers and toes were still attached, the numbness from the cold wasn't too bad...
There's a few other events to add onto that list, and whilst we're down to two of us in the office, there's a lot to get on with so apologies for the tardiness. One notable omission is the South of England XC champs, which is at Stanmer Park in Brighton this year (on the 27th Jan) so make sure you take your club photographer with you for that one. We will however be at the National English Cross Country Championships this year at Parliament hill - with the same Pic2Go free downloads that we had last year at Nottingham - so brace yourselves for a festival of photos on that one... and make sure you've got your entry in by Friday with your club team manager - it's a real lifetime achievement event.

All too much, too cold and too windy |
So that's it for this week, apart from being annoyed about the fortnightly recycling bin guys not taking the extra two bags of recyling next to the wheelie bin - because they were in plastic bags and they don't recycle plastic bags (face palm), generally things are going well as we plan into 2018.
I hope the first week back at work wasn't too rough for you too, and the training regime is starting to become a reality - if you're just onto your April marathon plan - then unless you're already an accomplished runner - is that too late ? Stop being silly and target a september marathon instead. Seriously.
