Free Download Photos from the Runners Need G3 Race 3 are now available online here:

The Final Descent from St.Marthas (Church in the background)
Cold northerly air, but even light clouds made for a very fair course on the third race out of the Runners Need G3 on Saturday. Each race has a different course, all taking in St.Martha's Hill in different directions and loops. This time it was the hardest of the three : http://connect.garmin.com/player/71413062.

Dave Rollins cleaned up, leading the Bike marshal round the course
Full tilt down the hill

A sense of achievement on the day

cool concentration on the fast long descent

Taking it at full speed - no fear
Getting all the way down the hill isn't quite the end of it, there was always the last climb back to the finish - but at least there was a flat part for a bit of recovery
Leader of the gang

mild respite on the last run in

All ok at the end
He did this all the way round...

If you're happy that you've finished - jump for joy
Full race details, results and routes can be found here: http://www.allabouttriathlons.co.uk/events_g3-run.html
as well as details of the next two races in June as an evening and early morning race the next day.

Well done everyone on a particularly smoothly marshaled and organised race, as well as a personal recommendation for the cafe at Newlands corner called the Barn http://www.thebarnnewlandscorner.co.uk/
just opposite the car park - another good reason to volunteer to help Toby and the team at these races - you get an all expenses paid brekkie...

If you are awaiting the Steyning Stinger photos and free downloads for that race http://www.steyningac.co.uk/2011-stinger/ - we have about 12,000 images to work and edit through and a special birthday meal for lunch with Grandpa to attend - so I will be working until the wee small hours to get through it ! I expect it to be ready sometime Tuesday.

Until next time, train safe, and be careful in the cold days to come.
Anthony
