HONC 2011 now live

The HONC 2011 gallery is now live and online here: http://gallery.sussexsportphotography.com/a.tlx?k=1mxzghr
Now in its 27th year HONC (Hell of the North Cotswolds) is a well established event with a wide variety of riders participating from all age groups.
At 9am on Sunday about 1200 riders set off from Winchcombe School for the HONC 2011. The course is either a 50km or 100km cycle ride around the picturesque hills and villages of the North Cotswolds, organised jointly by Winchcombe Cycling Club and Cheltenham and Country Cycling Club.
The weather was warm and the trails bone-dry, which made perfect conditions for a fast pace as well as making it a nice day to be out taking photos around the course.
The first 50km rider was back in a time of 2hr 5mins whereas 4hr 5mins saw the return of the first 100km rider.
One lucky entrant was the Prize Draw winner Adam Beddal (100km) who won a Marin Shoreline Trail Hardtail donated by Marin ATB.
As always, the event went smoothly, a testament to the fine organisation by the HONC committee and team of marshals out on the course; the HONC event page may be located here
We look forward to seeing you in 2012, may the nice weather continue.
