7Oaks Triathlon race report
On a day which started at 4degC and forecast to be 22DegC, it was near perfect conditions for a spring triathlon. No ordinary triathlon, if M&S did triathlons, then this might be it (note for race director get M&S onto your sponsor goody bag list).
This is the biggest goody bag on the circuit, even bigger if you're a marshal because you get a baguette and chocolate bar too. I dismantled mine too quickly to get a photo of everything in it - but there is a list on the race website somewhere - the Buff, shower gel, power bar energy food, Triathletes World magazine, to name but a few - are all going to be deployed sometime soon... I hope you enjoyed yours too.
Enjoy the photo essay below, judging from the comments at the finish as I was getting the finish line portraits it was a good day for testing the soul against the hills of Kent. At least it warmed up, I got sunburnt arms, and the racing was good.

Enter them quickly in the next few days before entries close - the weather forecast is looking cooler and a bit windier, but not too wet - so ideal for training and racing !
Until next time, train safely
