Day 1 of the XT Festival 2011 was over on Saturday, with the Triathlons, Duathlons and Swim all complete in perfect weather conditions for all terrain competition.
The free downloads from the day are available for you here:

According to spam filter algorithms - putting Free Downloads in the body of an email adds quite a lot of negative points and increases it's chance of getting spam filtered - and it gets worse if I put an exclamation mark after it, also in capital letters. If I did that you'd get nothing in your email, so I'll be interested to know if you get this one.
The Triathlon was the National Age Group off road Triathlon Championships, so with national titles up for grabs there were some hefty competitors amongst the field.
The results and race information can be found here: http://www.allabouttriathlons.co.uk/events_xtfestival.html
Richard Stannard took the gold honours in the Triathlon - a chap you can often hear commentating on the Television triathlons, and someone I first met about 7 years ago when he did an aquathlon - giving everyone else a 15 minute head start across Bewl Water. He won that too.

High resolution and top quality prints are available as well as the download, so if you have a special picture you want to get at an enhanced quality record of, please get it whilst it's available.
Talking of available - I've now decided to delete pictures that people right click on. I'll give them a few days grace after they have been right clicked on just in case it was a mistake, and a warning message comes up as well. Hopefully this will discourage people - look for the files that have been archive flagged to see who's doing what, but be quick, they won't be there long !
More updates on the weekends racing to come later, including Hursley 10k, Tonbridge Half and the Big 10k.
Until next time,
Anthony
