With the sporting world and everyone else watching either the London marathon or the Grand Prix in Bahrain, it's always nice to get a bit of ying to that yang and spend the Sunday in the gently undulating Chiltern Hills watching cyclists zoom about the place.
There was the choice of the short 100km or long 100 mile course, with the best views for photos being on this map here: http://g.co/maps/p8nkj which is the 100km course.
Depending on the weather, the timing, the splitting of the pack - all affects where we ended up going and at what time to go, to get as many of the riders as possible.
We have to get the timings right too as there were two other rides going on at the same time, one from Princes Risborough and another family ride from Sonning common. If you try to move at the wrong time, you end up trying to drive against a flood of cyclists ignoring the highway code - which is never good on single track roads !
The weather held off for all except the last few riders on the last bit of the course. It was cold when the sun was hidden behind the clouds, but otherwise the weather was good for riding and being outside.
Well done to Martyn and the F3 Events team who were constantly covering the course, checking on riders and making sure everyone was safe and sound through the day. Personally I was very grateful for the cheese sandwich at 4pm when he came past to pick up a knee injured rider who had joined us to await pick-up.
Enjoy the gallery !

It's the Sevenoaks Triathlon (Entry Full) and the Cambridge Town and Gown 10k (enter here) next weekend and then after that it's into the very busy bank holiday weekend of May, so have a good one and hopefully this rain will all clear up by friday.
Until next time
Anthony
