F3 Events - Longest day Sportive, Duathlon, 10k 2012 Pictures now online

The picture galleries for the F3 Events action from the weekend are now all live and online here:

On a day with a cold northerly wind, but otherwise perfect skies, as long as you had gloves it seemed that most people were out and enjoying the fresh weather. Keep moving - then you were warm enough, which made me quite jealous.

By the start of the duathlon I'd already shared out a spare jumper, a woolly hat and a pair of gloves out to various different marshals - so todays top tip is keep spare warm kit in the car at all times - you never know when you might need it to give to other people.

The duathlon had some close racing at the front end and some first timers at the other end making for a good mix of standards and experience taking to the routes. I always found taking part in events where there were people better than me a good lift that raised my own game, and there were a lot of people saying their run times were up on what they had expected - so a good end to the 4th in the series for F3 events.

Race planning:
Next weekend and ahead, if you're not joining in the traffic jam that is the London Marathon next sunday there are many things you can be doing instead- mostly involving running or cycling !
